Security Questions

Security is an issue many people (perhaps especially Americans) are acutely aware of and sensitive to. On the issue of ‘safety and security’ we are frightened by the media, intimidated by companies or placated by loved ones or colleagues. Each of these cases is intended to illicit a desired response – either to distract us from or make us aware of how safe we feel we are. The types of security my room seeks to address include personal safety, financial security, identity, and relationship security (e.g. role as mother, sister, wife).
